I heard from a friend that a string of hotels in Manhattan are celebrating a 60 year anniversary and are giving away 2 night reservations for about $20/night. But you can only book reservations on Oct. 1 within a 80 minute time period. I couldn't find any info on it online. Has anyone heard about this? If so, is there a website or something I can check for more info? Are there discounted hotel reservations in NYC from Oct-Dec. 2008?
I would look into the hotel Hotel Pennsylvania, its located right across the street from Penn Station. Its a beautiful 89 year old Hotel. Its unfortunately being threatened for demolition so please go to savethehotel.org and click on request for evaluation. THANKS!
